Hello, my name is Kimberley John-Morgan. I am an established equity educator, writer, and consultant with over 20 years of experience in higher education and non-profit organizations. I am versed in engaging with senior leadership teams to design and implement innovative initiatives. With robust vocational counselling, volunteer management, and asset-based community development (ABCD) knowledge, I have conceptualized a cross-section of projects providing underserved communities access to wellness and economic growth opportunities. At the heart of my work, I aim to design and deliver career, co-curricular, and community-based programs that address systemic barriers.

Searching for funding opportunities that align with your organization's needs is time-consuming. Contact me to find government, foundation, and corporate funds to support existing and future projects.

Rate starts at $500

Effective programs begin with precise design. After reviewing the eligibility criteria and application requirements, we can work together to map out the activities, timelines, resources, and budget required to support the delivery of your project.

Rates range from $775 up to 2% of the grant value

If you lack the time, skills, or interest in preparing a grant submission, I can help you curate your documents, compose responses, and effectively communicate your organization's needs to produce a competitive application. Note: I do not work on commission or contingency. As outlined in our signed service agreement, fees must be paid prior to application submission(s).

Consultation calls are 45-60 minutes in length, during which we will discuss:

  • Your granting history and current goals.
  • Funding opportunities of interest.
  • Timelines and pricing.

Note: The consultation fee will be deducted from the final invoice if we enter into a contract.

Check out my content space if you are looking for weekly posts and educational resources that unapologetically shine a light on the discrimination hiding in plain sight. Salt Box is a space for people who face intersecting isms to feel seen and for those who want to do better. The realities of workplace discrimination are too often discussed behind closed doors and in hushed tones. However, in my house, we talk the talk and say all the things — ALL of them.

Rooted in Indigenous and African diasporic values, we have partnered with McLean Consulting Group to provide those ready to learn with the opportunity to challenge everyday discrimination through storytelling, historical facts, and relationship building. Workshop #1: Words Carry Weight: An Examination of Workplace Language & Discrimination. ‍Workshop #2: Indigenous Allyship. These workshops can be delivered virtually or in person, and you can choose to spend a day with us to include both workshops or book them separately. Content can be tailored to meet your organization's unique needs while ensuring that critical learning outcomes are covered.

Testimonials

Kimberley John‑Morgan is a phenomenal writer, educator, and strategist – I've followed her work for a couple of years and became a paid subscriber of the Salt Box platform recently. The content is thought-provoking, challenging, and always insightful. She breaks down in great precision how both language & literal behaviors show up in the workplace and professional spaces. If your goal is real change, this is a must-subscribe, and I highly recommend her as someone to work with/for.
